The Merci is the most high performance board we make. With a narrow nose and tail, medium-thin rails and performance rocker. The single concave bottom gives a quick and fast feeling while the narrower squound tail adds smooth rail-to-rail control and creates balance between hold and release through sharper turns.
This board is the result of years of shaping, testing, tweaking, ditching, and starting over again. Antoine went through countless prototypes chasing a shortboard that didn’t fight him—one that disappears under your feet and reacts the moment you think about a turn. Not a pro-only blade, but something any confident surfer can click with.
It’s made to respond instantly and feel intuitive. No crazy features but maximum reliability. Designed for the French and Spanish surf and tested during multiple seasons in Moliets in France and it's surrounding beachbreaks.
How it rides
Designed for clean waves with a bit of punch between 0.75 - 3m. Basically for any wave that makes you reach for your shortboard. This board feels intuitive and in control. Everything is cleaned out and balanced to make it feel as if the board is not even there.
Our shaper Antoine is 1.79m and 72kgs and rides his at 5'10.
